From ancient days to date there are numerable stories about giants that roamed earth long time back. Even today the story of the Abominable Snowman catches the fascination in many of us. The Himalayan Yeti – yet another story. In the Western world it has always been the werewolf. In the western ghats of Southern Indian state there lives a tale about a creature called “Odhyan” which is the American equivalent of werewolf.
Is this all real? I am one of those persons who completely refuse to believe in the existence of such creatures. The entire globe has been scanned by adventurers, warlords travelers and in the modern days there are planes and satellites – not single evidence has come out in favour. Recently I saw a program in the National Geographic called Is it real? It was about a wolf like creature supposed to have been video graphed by an amateur. The program kept on showing a repeated shot of blurred character which could have been anything – a bear – or a tourist or even some fakers. Finally the program ended with no conclusion whatever.
If at all there were giants in the ancient worlds I read somewhere that it could have been due to the high magnetic field that surrounded earth those time and as the time wore by it reduced thereby reducing the size of living beings. There are very tall people among us today but that is abnormality.
Who knows? I only know that it is wistful thinking to indulge in unscientific and unproven so called “facts”
