That is all the IPL team owners were auctioning players for their team . See how our players have become a product .The highest bid was for Dhoni , he was bought by Super Lions chennai team for whopping 6.5 crores per year contract , Dada went for Sharukh's Kolkata team, Rahul Dravid for Vijay Mallya's Bengaluru (formerly Bangalore)team, Yuvi for Preity and Ness Wadia's Mohali team . Ishaant Sharma was bought for whopping 3.5 crores . IPL matches will be played in 20 - 20 format . If a player is absent for more than six matches 1/3 from the pay will deducted , And the funniest part is if the players do not perform well they can be sold it seems .
